In the spirit of levity I am not going to debate the advantages/disadvantages of either OS. All that needs to be said is that both Snow Leopard and Windows 7 are solid operating systems and if you have the hardware to support either of them you should definitely upgrade.

These are the two best OS's Cupertino and Redmond have released in years. They've separated the chaff from the wheat and given users what they need; stable, efficient software without the bloat.

Microsoft is in the end stages of wrapping up its latest patch to Windows Vista, Service Pack 2. Vista SP 2 includes security and performance updates issued since Microsoft released Vista SP1 in March 2008. Most likely a much needed update for all Vista users.

While this service pack is much needed I’d rather see Microsoft focus its efforts in getting Windows 7 out in a timely manner. Apple needs some competition in the operating system sphere and Windows 7 appears to be the only thing MS has done in a great while to push Apple. Scooby Doo!
